These are in no particular order coz that takes sooooo much time and I gotta have breakfast and get out again!!
Ok so we have a photo oh my foot on the glass floor of the CN Tower
The highest point we went up to was 1,465ft / 447M so standing on a glass floor wasn't my idea of fun!!! (apprantly though it can hold 14 hippo's - not sure I wanna know how they tested that one???!)
Emily and I eating our $18 burger up the CN Tower
We were caught in a thunderstorm and the rain just seem to build up on this one street! It was running like a river!!! Amused me!
Some things I saw walking around (Dad I'm sorry but some just amused me and I knew someone else would smile knowing I was taking pictures of them!!!)
Me and the CN Tower...and some one pitching for the Blue Jays - who FYI lost, although was a close call the last pitcher just needed to hit a home run and Blue Jays would have drawn with the Yankies (Sound like a pro hey??? Well I was actually told that :o( ) We were 4 yes 1, 2, 3, 4!!!! Rows from the front which was amazing!
Nice pic of a Lexus. Very good. lol.
ReplyDeleteStill sounds like loads of fun - STILL wish we were there!!$18 - is that in proper money?
ReplyDeleteNow, here is a story for all those people who, like me, KNOW Sarah as a generous, thoughtful, giving kind of girl....
As some might know, I am currently "between jobs" or "taking a career break" or suffering from the effects of those greedy, blood-sucking morons in the City of London (But I am over that and don't feel badly at all towards the bastards!!)
Anyway - I arrived back from a day or two on holiday to find a card from HM Post Office, stating that I had a letter awaiting me at the sorting office, which they could not deliver due to an under-payment of £0.08 (Proper money Sarah)but there was also a handling charge of £1.00 to pay. Good old psot office - another lot of blood suckers!
Anyway...
What COULD it be?
* A letter saying I had won the lottery?
* A letter from a company offering me a job?
* Contact from a long lost relative who, realising he had no heir, was oing to leave the lot to me?
* A letter from some other lot of blood suckers (HM Revenue and Taxes????)
You can imagine the excitement, the trepidation, the THRILL of going into Huddersfield to get the letter. Of paying out the £1.08 to get who knows what letter containg who knows WHAT promise of future riches!!
I handed over the money, I got the envelope, I opened it............
Sarah, thank you SO much for the pencil, it was such a lovely thought, but probably the most expensive one I have ever owned - I dare not use it!!
Keep me posted on the Blue Jays ( Weren't they a band from the '60's?) sounds exciting!!
Thinking of you all the time.
Love,
DAD, VAL & H
